Auto Form Filler is a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge that fills web forms with your saved info or with random test data. This page explains what it handles and where that data goes.

1. What the extension stores

2. Where your data is stored

Everything is kept in the browser's local extension storage (storage.local) on your device. It is not synced to other devices and is never sent to us. There is no Auto Form Filler account, server, analytics or advertising.

3. Web pages

To show the Fill button, the extension looks at the form fields of the page you are on (their type, name, label and placeholder) to recognize fields such as “email” or “city”. This happens inside your browser. Page content is not saved, logged or sent anywhere. Values are typed into a page only when you click My info, Random, a popup button, a right-click menu item, or press a keyboard shortcut. After that, the website you are on receives what you submit, as with any form you fill by hand.

Payment card fields, security codes, one-time codes and coupon fields are always skipped.

4. Random data

Random fill uses lists built into the extension. The names are made up, emails use the reserved example.com, example.org and example.net domains, and phone numbers use the fictional 555-01xx range. A random password is generated on your device each time and is not stored.

5. Browser permissions

The extension does not load code from the internet. Everything it runs ships inside the package.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not collect your data, so we do not sell, rent or share it. It is not used for advertising, profiling or credit decisions.

7. Your control

8. Children

Auto Form Filler is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If the way the extension handles data changes, we will update this page and the date above before the new version is released.
